Pre-Race
The day started out like any other race.  Except for today I was going to be the 2 Hour Pacer for the Race 13.1 N. Hills 1/2 Marathon. (Race Report Here).  After i was finished with the half I showered, ate and rehydrated.  Following all that I was able to get in about a 3 hour nap before it was time to get up and go.

This year I had agreed to drive to the race with Pat and we would hang out to the end.  The previous night he came over and load some of his stuff so we be able to just hop in the van and go. As 3:PM rolled around Pat showed up so we finished loading the van and off we went.

When we arrived in the middle of no where, I mean Ellerbe, NC, it was to our supprise that there already a bunch of people there and someone had even took our spot from the previous year.
